Terms of Use

Terms of use for Ejecta, the macOS disk ejection utility.

Terms of Use

Last updated: January 14, 2026

These terms govern your use of Ejecta. By purchasing or using Ejecta, you agree to these terms.

License

When you purchase Ejecta, you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to:

  • Install and use Ejecta on up to 3 Macs that you own or control
  • Use the software for personal or commercial purposes
  • Receive free updates for as long as we release them

You may not:

  • Share, sell, or redistribute your license key
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the software
  • Remove or alter any proprietary notices

Payment

Ejecta is sold as a one-time purchase through Lemon Squeezy. All prices are in USD. You’re responsible for any applicable taxes.

Refunds

We offer a 30-day refund policy. If Ejecta doesn’t work for you, contact us at support@ejecta.app within 30 days of purchase for a full refund. No questions asked.

After 30 days, refunds are at our discretion.

Updates

We may release updates to fix bugs, improve performance, or add features. Updates are free and optional — you can continue using any version you’ve downloaded.

We don’t guarantee updates for any specific period or macOS version.

The Software

Ejecta is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We do our best to make it work well, but we can’t guarantee it will:

  • Work with every Mac configuration
  • Be compatible with future macOS versions
  • Never have bugs

Use common sense. Ejecta helps you quit processes and eject drives. If you force quit a process, you may lose unsaved work. If you eject a drive while a backup is running, you may corrupt data. We’re not responsible for data loss resulting from using Ejecta as intended.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we’re not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of Ejecta.

Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the software.

Termination

We may terminate your license if you violate these terms. You may stop using Ejecta at any time.

Upon termination, you must delete all copies of Ejecta from your devices.

Changes

We may update these terms. If we make significant changes, we’ll notify you through the app or website. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved in courts located in the United States.
